Lucille M. (Mastrocesare) Galli, 95, of New Kensington, Pa., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Sunrise of McCandless. She was born March 13, 1929, in Oakmont, to the late Joseph and Mary (Rantucci) Mastrocesare. Lucille married Joseph Galli Sr. in 1948 and remained happily married for 60 years.
Lucille loved her growing family. She is survived by her son, Joseph Galli Jr. (Cindy) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida., and her daughter, Julie Anne Galli of Franklin Park. Lucille took great pride in her grandchildren: Brittany Galli-Doyle (Brian) of Charlotte, North Carolina; Peter (Meredith) of Jersey City, New Jersey; Madison of Baltimore, Maryland; and Zander Galli of Stanford, California. Her family continued to grow with the joy of great-grandchildren, Blakely, Beckett, Baxter Galli-Doyle, and Sofia Galli.
Throughout her life, Lucille was a devout gardener and found joy in meticulous care of lush gardens, which became a symbol of her nurturing spirit. As a grandmother, she delighted in watching her family grow and thrive, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams with the same passion she exhibited in her own endeavors.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Galli Sr., and her son, Peter Galli. Her legacy of love, hard work, and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew her, especially her son and daughter.
Service and burial for Lucille were private in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. Arrangements are under the care of the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street Natrona Heights 724-224-8688.
