Mary E. (Klimkowski) Polisano

Mary E. (Klimkowski) Polisano, 92, of Brackenridge, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in Applewood Personal Care Home, Brackenridge. She was born October 2, 1925, in Natrona Heights to the late Gordon and Sophie Olczak Klimkowski. Mary was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights, the American Legion Post 226 Ladies Auxiliary in Brackenridge and the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary is survived by her three sons, Carl Polisano, of Natrona Heights, Calvin Polisano, of Brackenridge and Tom (Melissa) Polisano, of Brackenridge; seven grandchildren, Carla Polisano, Matthew (Diane) Polisano, Angela (John) Manchini, Michael (Cori) Polisano, Julie (Samuel) Hurst, and Kendall and Karmen Polisano; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Jean) Klimkowski and Larry Klimkowski, both of Natrona Heights; sister, Leona Brestensky, of Brackenridge; and by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Polisano on September 15, 2015; brother, Alfred Klimkowski; and by her sisters, Stella Hamilton, Helen Taraszewski and Jennie Bubash.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 PM and on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Entombment will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
