Mary Lou (Agnic) Kaminski 90, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her daughters home in Kensington, Maryland. She was born June 21, 1934, in West Deer Twp., to the late John and Barbara (Golojuh) Agnic. Mary Lou was a beautician for 50 years with her husband at Leonard's Beauty Shop. She was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She enjoyed her membership in the Catholic Daughters of America and the Rosary Society. Providing for her family and friends, and caring for others, and cooking were her passions. She was a member of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights and was a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Church in Natrona Heights. Mary Lou is survived by her children, Leonard W. (Sheila Thornton) Kaminski, of Fawn Township, Maria (John) Dinger, of Kensington, MD and Barbara (Mark) Marple, of Fairfax, Va., grandchildren, Daniel (Jennifer) Thornton, Samantha Thornton, Amelia (Adam) Hartman, Hanna (Alexander) Courtot and Lorelei Dinger and great grandsons, Levi Thornton, Dylan Thornton, Logan Thornton, and Nolan Stone. Her siblings Betty Mason, of Export, PA and John (Betty) Agnic, of Butler, PA. In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Kaminski on January 2, 2012.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. The Rosary Society will recite the rosary in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org 225 N.
