Melissa Kay "Missi" (Walters) Elliott, 63, of Natrona Heights passed away with her family at her side on Friday, December 6, 2024 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born February 1, 1961, in Natrona Heights to the late Paul G. and Phyllis A. (Hines) Walters Sr. Missi was a 1979 graduate of Highlands High School.
Missi was a hard and dedicated worker who spent her life as a member of the community. She spent years helping others decorate and plan for the special events in their lives that included senior nights, proms, dances and weddings. She always volunteered for her children’s school events, clubs and sports.
She started her own business Celebration's Unlimited where she planned and decorated hundreds of weddings and also worked for many years at A-1 Rental as an event planner. She created many balloon arches and balloon bouquets for many school, public and private events. Missi spent many years working at Pajer's Flower Shop, where she created flower arrangements, bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres for many events. Most recently she drove a school van for W.L. Roenigk, Inc. where she enjoyed the time spent with the children she drove to and from school.
Missi is survived by her husband Robert, and recently celebrated 37 years of marriage, daughters, Carlie (Justin) Scisciani and Jade (Brandon) Cielicki, son Samuel Elliott (Maddie Mutinelli), grandchildren Cameron Cielicki and Oliver Scisciani, sister Peg (Norm) Sayre, brother Paul G. Walters, Jr., and in-laws Heather (James) Walters, Cindy (Michael) Walters, Ken and Chris Elliott, Randy and Sharon Elliott also many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Missi was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael G. Walters, James "Jimbo" Walters and sister-in-law Valerie (Paul, Jr.) Walters.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Ceremony to celebrate her life will be private.
