Michael D. D'Amico

Michael D. 'Pappa Bear' D'Amico, 69, of Natrona, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. He was born May 23, 1948, in Natrona Heights to the late David D. and Virginia Shaffer D'Amico. Mike retired after 30 years of service from the T&Y department of Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Brackenridge. He was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. Mike enjoyed doing word search puzzles and adult coloring. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Tomporoski D'Amico; daughter, Kimberly D'Amico, at home; step mother, Helen Drakulic D'Amico, of Turtle Creek; brother, Don D. D'Amico, of Virginia and by his sisters, Nita (Thomas) Cheripka, of North Versailles, and twins Patricia (Robert) Cheripka, of Murrysville and Pam (Ron) Matviya, of South Carolina. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle N. D'Amico on September 14, 2000.
