Nicholas J. DiFatta, 94, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at his home. He was born December 29, 1928, in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Sam and Frances (DiPaola) DiFatta. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Army. Nick retired in 1983 from Gulf Oil in Monroeville where he worked as an analyst. Nick was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed bowling. Nick is survived by his son, Samuel (Mary) DiFatta, of Natrona Heights, his grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, Anne and Katlyne DiFatta and by his brother, Salvatore DiFatta, of St. Augustine, Florida. In addition to his parents, Nick was preceded in death by his wife, Alvia A. (Herman) DiFatta on April 12, 2009 and by his brothers, John and Richard DiFatta.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street. Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.
