Paul F. Westendorf Jr., 92, of Fawn Township, passed away peacefully with his family at his side at home on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was born September 29, 1932, in Tarentum to the late Paul F. and Freda (Kalinowsky) Westendorf Sr. Paul served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Oberg Industries after 35 years of service, where he worked as a drafting engineer. Paul was a member of the Pollock Lodge No 502 F & AM in Tarentum. He enjoyed skiing, golfing and was an avid Steeler fan. Paul is survived by his wife of 21years, Catherine (Ferencak) Westendorf, son, David Westendorf, of Vandergrift, daughter, Audrey Roberto, of Natrona Heights, stepsons, Edward Solomon Jr (Heather), of Vandergrift and Joseph (Amy) Solomon, of Cranberry Twp., step daughters, Michele (Douglas) Seaholm, of Washington Twp. and Susan (Gary) Johngarlo, of Allegheny Twp., grandchildren, Evan (Eileen) Westendorf, Randall (Katie) Roberto, Catherine (Andrew) Simbeck, Alexandra (Vincent) Moorhead, Devin Seaholm, Edward Solomon III, Rebecca Solomon, Christopher (Shelby) Solomon, Samantha Solomon, Michael Solomon, Faith Solomon, Nolan Johngarlo, Emerson Johngarlo and Grayson Johngarlo, great grandchildren, Brantley, Lucien, Nora, Mia and Riley and by his sister, Dorothy Bouch, of Sarver. He was preceded in death by Doris Westendorf.
Friends will be received on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the First United Presbyterian Church, Tarentum. Officiating will be Rev. Philip Beck. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp. Contributions in memory of Paul, may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
