Ronald J. "Smoothie" Cheesman, 59, of Natrona Heights, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He was born April 6, 1962, in Natrona Heights to the late Edward and Evelyn (Olczak) Cheesman. Smoothie was a 1980 graduate of Highlands High School. He was the owner of Smoothie's Auto Body and Sales and the Charred Paddock both in Natrona Heights. Smoothie was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Natrona Heights. and a life member of the Harrison Hills Volunteer Fire Company Station 169. He enjoyed working on cars. Smoothie is survived by his brother, Edward A. (Julann) Cheesman, of Bradys Bend; sister, Andrea (William) Sovick, of East Palestine, Ohio; and by his nieces and nephews, Ashley Skiles, Brianna Skiles, Edward A. Cheesman and Shaney M. Cheesman.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 5-8 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul DeBacco. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. The family asks that those attending the visitation and service to please wear a face covering. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Smoothie may be made to the Harrison Hills Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 221, Natrona Heights, Pa. 15065.
