Rosalie A. (Rametta) Zidek 78, of Oklahoma Borough, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016, only 13 days after her birthday at her daughter's home in New Jersey. She was born July 12, 1938 to the late Michael J. and Mary Ann Spagnolo Rametta. Rosalie was a 1956 graduate of Vandergrift High School, and attended Robert Morris College's School of Business. She worked at the Apollo Medical Clinic in the mid-1970's and retired from Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington, in 1998, after working there as a medical secretary. Rosalie's favorite times were spent with her grandchildren, friends and neighbors, who were wonderful to her. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, sharing baked goods with the people she loved, and spending time with longtime friends. Rosalie considered herself the unofficial coach, referee, and cheerleader of every Pittsburgh sports team, and allowed no phone calls to interfere with her games. She is survived by her two daughters, Robin (Chris) Shafer and Lynda (Tim) Dietz; grandchildren, Carolyn, Marielle, Abigail, Samantha and Olivia Shafer, Noah, Jeff and Ellie Dietz; and by her sisters, Rita J. and Patricia A. Rametta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Zidek; sister, Cindy (Brent) Ball; and a grandson, Matthew 'Tiggy' Dietz.
