Sandra K. (Moyer) Hoover

Sandra K. (Moyer) Hoover, 73, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Friday, August 5, 2016, at her home surrounded by her children, grandchildren, sister and friends. She was born October 24, 1942, in Arnold, the daughter of the late Philip D. and Hazel C. Shoup Moyer. Sandra worked as a Dietitian at East Deer Personal Care Home in Creighton. She enjoyed cooking, ceramics, crocheting and catering. Sandra is survived by her children, Deanna D. Mellish, of New Kensington and William Hoover Jr. (April Wagner), of Vandergrift; grandchildren, Michael J. Hoover, Christopher W. Hoover, Amanda K. Hoover, Stephanie D. (Andrew) Fello, Rebecca D. Galore, Tyler S. Hoover and Alexander R. Hoover; nine great grandchildren; and by her sister, Virginia Mayhugh, of New Kensington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hoover Sr. on June 11, 2008; brothers, Crawford, Samuel, Delbert, Jack, Dean and James Moyer; and by her sisters, Faye Montgomery and Dixie Moyer,
