Stanley E. Wasilowski, Jr., 73, formerly of Greenville, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. He was born November 21, 1944, in Natrona to the late Stanley and Helen Kozluk Wasilowski. Stanley was a 1962 graduate of St. Joseph High School, Natrona and a 1971 graduate of Alliance College, Cambridge Springs. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1963-1967. Stanley's working career started at Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge from 1967-1968, as a Teacher in the Erie School District from 1971-1973 and he retired in 2000 after 27 years as a managing consultant/claims manager for Werner Ladder Company in Greenville. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville, Masonic Lodge in Jamestown, Moose and Elks in Greenville, life member of American Legion Post 48 in Natrona and a life member of the N.R.A. Stanley was also elected as a constable in Crawford County in 1975. He enjoyed golfing and target and skeet shooting. Stanley is survived by his cousins, Ray (Linda) Wasilowski, Barbara (Bill) Schrecongost, Paul Kozluk (Jackie), Donna Carson, Michael (Candy) Yakimo and Karen (Jerold) Yoffa.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 Noon in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Officiating will be the Rev. R. Cameron Malcolm, IV. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Stanley may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 323 Main Street, Greenville, Pa. 16125.
