Stephen B. Radvan, Jr., 80, of Sarver, formerly of Fawn Township, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in Concordia Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. Steve was born August 4, 1942, in Tarentum to the late Stephen B. and Anita (Eccel) Radvan Sr. He was a 1960 graduate of Tarentum High School and attended California University of Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. Steve was employed by AP Green?RESCO Brick Refractory in Tarentum as a Warehouse Supervisor for 48 years. From 1974 until 1998, Steve was an assistant coach with Pat Bubash for the Natrona Heights Tri County Sandlot Baseball Team. Known to Brent and Lance Bubash as Uncle Steve, he was active in their sports-hockey and baseball-and was on of their biggest music fans. Watching wrestling (WWE), old westerns and listening to his classic rock music was his entertainment. He will be remembered for his friendship, kindness and loyalty. Steve is survived by his brother, Charles (Chuck) and Beverly Radvan; niece Kimberly Radvan (Robert) Jerome from Easton, Maryland; friends and "adopted' families; Patrick, Joyce and Brent Bubash and James, Diane, Cody and Courtney Lee. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, niece, Stephanie Radvan, grandmother, Mary Eccel, Aunt, Nellie Eccel, Uncle, Joe Dean and his Godchild, Lance Bubash.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a blessing service at 12 noon in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688.
