Thomas E. Blizman, 72, of Natrona Heights, passed away at home on Monday, July 17, 2023. He was born April 12, 1951, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late John and Emily (Napolski) Blizman. Tom was a 1969 graduate of Highlands High School. He served his country in the United States Army Reserve. Tom retired as a crane repairman from Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge. He was of the Catholic faith. Tom was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5758 in Tarentum, the Oregon Club in Brackenridge and the N.R.A. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom is survived by his brother, Jay (Anita) Blizman, of Beaver, nephew, Jeff (Holly) Blizman, of Cranberry Twp., niece Joelle Blizman, of Beaver and by his great nephews, Noah Blizman and Pearce Perkins and great nieces, Lily Blizman and Kayden Perkins. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Diane L. (Keacher) Blizman on April 4, 2012. Tom cherished his lifelong friendships with so many. Especially the bond he had with Chris and Yvonne Brown, who were like family to him.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp., To send an online condolence please visit www.cicholski-zidekfh.com.
