Thomas E. Kanzic

Thomas E. "Slant" Kanzic, 65, of Natrona Heights, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 in Harmar Village Health & Rehab Center. He was born January 31, 1960, in Natrona Heights to the late Anthony and Theresa (Okopal) Kanzic. Tom was a 1978 graduate of Highlands High School. He worked for his uncle's plastic company (OR Plastics) for 10 years and later for BAR Machining in Natrona for 20 years. Tom was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church. He enjoyed fishing, tending to his vegetable garden, coin collecting, building rockets, restoring vintage automobiles and listening to the radio for gardening tips and 1970's music, especially Pink Floyd. Tom loved spending time with his wife, daughters, grandchildren and friends, his two cats, Sydney & Tuxey and visiting his daughter in Australia.. Tom is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Jo (Martinka) Kanzic, daughters, Angela (Mark) Boyer and Amy (Doug) Tovey, grandchildren, Mila and Nora Boyer and Jaxon and Landon Tovey, siblings, Terrie (Tomko) Mourningdove, Judi (Jordan) Philipbar, Daniel (Eileen) Kanzic and Timothy Kanzic, sister-in-law, Hatzu Kanzic and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Kanzic Jr. Tom was a loving, kind and generous man and he touched many hearts. He will always hold an irreplaceable part in our hearts. He will be deeply missed along with his sense of humor and his unique laugh.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a blessing service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in the chapel of Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
