Thomas S. Macura, 66, of Fawn Township, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at his home. He was born October 26, 1950 in Natrona Heights a son of the late John and Stella Maliscewski Macura. Tom was a 1969 graduate of St. Joseph High School. He was the owner/operator of Macuras Auto Repair in Fawn Township. He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Parish in Natrona. Tom enjoyed his trips to the casino, going out to dinner, spending time with his family and his daily coffee with his friends at McDonald's at table 1. Tom is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol Jones Miller Macura; children, Jeff (Terri) Miller, of Tarentum, Deborah Lewis (Kerry Ekas), of Natrona Heights and Carrie Miller, of Harwick; grandchildren, Chad Lovic, Eric Lovic, Keely Lewis, Cameron Miller, Shane Miller, Ashley Miller, Mitchell Ekas and Adam Ekas; brothers, John Macura, of Arnold and Richard (Renee) Macura, of Murrysville; sisters, Carolyn (Dave) Peters, of Tarentum and Barbara (Jerry) Miller, of North Huntingdon Township; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Macura.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St. Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM. Officiating will be his pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
