Tomas W. Sloan, 74, of Natrona Heights, passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, December 25, 2021. He was born June 10, 1947, in Butler and was raised by the late Donald and Ana (Alers) Stewart. Tomas (Tom) received his Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering from Tri-State College and his Master's in Business Administration from Robert Morris University. He retired as a Senior Engineer & Principal Consultant from General Physics. Tom was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Tom is survived by his wife of 49 years, Paulette (Trettel) Sloan; daughters, Loren (Matthew) Kurpiewski, of Pittsburgh and Dr. Melissa (Bryan Easter) Sloan, of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, Sloan, Cleo, Ana, Eli and Gia; brother, Joseph Edwin Sloan and by his sisters, Kathy (David) Shidemantle and Joanne Sloan Ellenberger. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Stewart.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev.
