Walter E. Dlubak Jr., 64, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Murrysville Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 4, 1957, in Natrona Heights to Joan (Farrell) Dlubak Kunkel, of Natrona Heights and the late Walter E. Dlubak Sr. Walt worked for many years as a machine operator at Dlubak Glass in Natrona Heights. He enjoyed cooking and was an avid Penguin and Steeler fan. Walt was known for his big heart and loved being with his family and friends. In addition to his mother, Joan, Walt is survived by his siblings, Susan (Richard) Farabaugh, of Murrysville, David (Edith) Dlubak, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Catherine (James) Hickey, of Upper Burrell, James (Vicki) Dlubak, of Buffalo Township and Janet (Ross) Korber, of Natrona Heights, his nieces and nephews, Erik Farabaugh, Denis Farabaugh, Danielle Farabaugh, Mary (Bryan) Pino, David (Jana) Dlubak, Joseph (Jessica) Dlubak, Jamie (Kyle) Blanton, Jennifer Hickey, Rachel Hickey, Christina Hickey, Brian Hickey, Danielle Hickey, Nicholas Hickey, Saleena Hickey, Cortney (Chris) Striebig, Connor Dlubak, Nicholas Korber and Alex Korber and by his great nieces and nephews, Nola, Isabella, Leo, David, Logan, McKenna, Dale and Kaden. In addition to his father, Walter E. Dlubak Sr., Walt was preceded in death by his nephew, Jacob Korber and by his dog, Traveler.
Friends will be received on Monday from 5-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12 Noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights with the Rev. Andrew Fischer as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Walt may be made to the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank, 1913 Freeport Rd., Natrona Heights, Pa. 15065.
