William McClain

William A. McClain, 89, of Natrona Heights, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Platinum Ridge, Brackenridge. He was born May 1, 1935, in Natrona Heights to the late Lawrence M. and Hattie (Adams) McClain. Bill served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired in 1999 from the former Pullman Standard in Butler. He was a 50 year member and past Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge Seneca 805 in Kittanning. Bill is survived by his daughters, Cindy McClain Harrington, of Groton, Connecticut and Noelle (Tom) Simmons, of Ford City, 11 grandchildren, Chad Harrington, Shannon (Jesse) Barriere, Andrew Harrington, Melissa Harrington, Rachel Lastes, Shawn Anderson and Daniel Anderson, 19 great grandchildren, sister, Margaret "Peggy" Jones, of Eubank, Ky. numerous nieces and nephews and by numerous Amish friends. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jane (Heasley) McClain on October 6, 2008, daughters, Beth Ann McClain and Linda Lee McClain Haggan, brothers, R. Neale, Thomas, Ralph, Calvin, Elmer, Lawrence and James McClain and sisters, Florence Jablonowski, Bette Smith and Helen McClain. The family would like to give a special thank you to Ron McClain for helping dad anytime he was in need.  

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.  Officiating will be the Rev. R. Cameron Malcolm, IV.  Burial will be in Mt.
