William R. Sobol

William R. Sobol, 66, of Brackenridge, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born May 26, 1956, in Hazelwood a son of the late Henry J. and Jean (Napolitano) Sobol. Bill served his country as an MP in the United States Army. He worked in the laminating department at PPG in Creighton. After working at PPG, Bill attended the Police Academy and worked as a Police Officer in Springdale. Later he worked as a Security Guard and Courier at Allegheny Valley Hospital. He was a member of the American Legion Post 226 in Brackenridge. Bill enjoyed panning for gold with his grandchildren and the shooting sports. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lucinda (Anthony) Sobol; stepchildren, Joe Kubla (Brittany), of West Leechburg, Camille Kubla, of Zelienople and Rebekah Kubla, of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, grandchildren, Jayden, Nya, Anna, Nikki, Jimmy, Chad, Zac and Ryder, brother, John A. Sobol, of Tarentum, nephew, Kirk and by his niece, Julie. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death his brother, Raymond Sobol

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Friday at 12 Noon.
